The Lunch Club Presents:
The Battle of The Sexes
Tuesday, May 23rd @ 7:00pm
Battle of the Sexes!
The many ways men women miscommunicate in the dating realm. (a panel discussion)
So you're single and you're "out there." You've probably tried the various Nerves, Lava Life's, Matches, Jdates, and whatever else there is now (it's a sea of possible choices, really). But how come you're not really connecting with anyone? Why aren't you making that "click?" Really, it comes down to communication. And men women are very different animals (but both are definitely animals). Join us for a panel discussion about the pitfalls of communication between men women, and what you can do in order to better understand the opposite sex. We'll be discussing things like:
Why do men say they'll call when they don't?
Why are women obsessed with analyzing what a guy said?
Who are the real commitment-phobes, men or women?
Who are the better communicators?
Panel members:
Nancy Slotnick - Founder of "Drip" - the well known dating coffee house that dominated the Upper West Side single's scene for the latter half of the 90's, and also founder of Cablight, a company that focuses on "love-life management." She's also the author of the new book "Turn on your cab light".
Shoshanna Rikon - Founder of Shoshanna's Matches and one of the leading Jewish matchmakers in New York City. "Shoshanna has become acutely aware of the difficult process of looking for a mate. Her zest for life and the joy she derives from making people happy have led her to devote herself to building a service aimed at professionals seeking romance."
Hope you can make it. Please RSVP at The Lunch Club.

Carrie Bradshaw of Sex and the City said, "In New York, they say you're always looking for a job, a boyfriend or an apartment. So let’s say you have two out of three and they’re fabulous. The day opens with a keynote address by renowned sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer, closes with a performance by Israeli singer Smadar and features a panel discussion led by columnist Esther Kustanowitz.
